How You Can Help

All donations large and small are welcomed. Your contribution will help us meet the challenge of providing scholarships for students in the Southeast Asian communities of the United States. The NSRCF is an organization run entirely by dedicated volunteers. At least 92% of your donation goes towards funding these scholarships. Less than 8% is used for operating costs and expenses. We are a 501[3]c non-profit organization and your contributions are fully tax deductible.

The NSRCF’s commitment to help fulfill the educational aspirations of a new generation of students is done in the spirit of ongaeshi — in Japanese, a strong obligation to repay a kindness. Please join us in continuing this tradition of ongaeshi. The ongoing effectiveness of the NSRCF scholarship program is dependent on generous donations from people like you.

General Fund | A contribution in any amount is welcome and important to us. It will be added to our endowment fund which supports all of our general scholarships.

Tribute Fund Level | A contribution of $2,000 will establish a Tribute Fund in honor of an individual or organization. Others may contribute to a Tribute Fund to build it to $10,000, the amount needed to support an annual General Scholarships.

Legacy Fund Level | A contribution of $10,000 will support an annual General Scholarship. You can establish a new fund to honor an individual or organization or contribute to one that has already been established.

Named Scholarship Level | A contribution of $20,000 will establish an annual $2,000 scholarship that you can name in honor of an individual or organization. You can also add a contribution of any amount to an existing Named Scholarship Fund.

The NSRC Fund program has unique aspects which appeal to me … it unselfishly looks beyond its own ethnic community and seeks to help other Asian groups who otherwise may be overlooked. This reflects the true spirit of giving.
