Mission Statement
The Nisei Student Relocation Commemorative
Fund, Inc. commemorates the National Japanese American Student
Relocation Council by helping others pursue higher education and
by fostering inter-ethnic relations. The Fund was established
by second generation Japanese Americans, in a spirit of gratitude
to the Council for the help given them during their World War
II incarceration. The Council enabled the Nisei to continue their
interrupted studies.
